What types of items and brands do you accept?

We accept women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories in good pre-owned condition. Our edit spans from contemporary to luxury labels — anything from Zara to Staud to Miu Miu. If you're not sure about the piece you're considering, you can send us a photo or description and we'll happily consult on its value!
Items must be clean, free of damage, and aligned with current resale demand. While we don’t publish a static brand list (since the resale market is always evolving), we do not accept stained or torn items, outdated professional attire, or fast fashion brands like Shein, Amazon, Lulus, Missguided, or Princess Polly.

Do I need to clean my items before consigning?

Yes — we ask that all items are freshly cleaned before drop-off or pickup. If you don’t have time, we can handle the cleaning for you and deduct a small fee from your monthly earnings.

How do I get started on consigning?

To get started, email us at info@shopreclothe.com OR DM our Instagram @reclothe.collective!

Simply schedule a home pickup or arrange a drop-off that works for you. From there, our team handles photography, descriptions, authentication, appraisal, and listings across our platforms — including our Shopify website, Poshmark accounts, Vestiaire Collective, DePop, and The RealReal.

How long are my items listed for?

All items are listed for a 90-day consignment period. If an item hasn’t sold by then despite our markdown strategies and marketing efforts, you can choose to have it returned, recycled, or donated to our local charity partners.

How does authentication work?

Every item is carefully inspected and authenticated by our experts before it is listed. If an item cannot be verified, we will notify you and discuss next steps. For designer labels, we work with industry-approved apps for authentication.

When and how do I get paid?

Payouts are issued monthly at the close of our consignment cycle, typically around the 19th. Payments are made via Zelle.

Our VIP members earn thousands each year — with some making around $8,000 annually reselling their wardrobes with us.
